I strive to capture images that tell a story "a visual narrative"

I am a photographer based in the Channel Islands,  my photography interests are primarily associated with people; I could be described as a “social” photographer because of this; Lifestyle photographer would also be apt in describing my interests and approach. Although I am comfortable with landscape and architectural photography my real passion is producing images of people, images that show emotions, happiness; sadness; and all the other emotions that people exhibit in their life.

 Emotion is the complex psycho physiological experience of an individual’s state of mind, their interaction with their internal feelings and their environmental influences.

No aspect of our life is more poignant that that of showing our emotions, where our response to a situation is exhibited. Sometime these emotions are there for the world and others to see. Capturing this in image format is what I strive to achieve. 

Photographs bring these emotions to the fore when the feelings have passed and we relive the excitement, or sorrow or jubilation of an event. Our memories flood back from seeing such an image; an image of a wedding, or a sporting endeavour; an academic achievement & success; or just a simple love story captured for eternity.

The quality and meaning of our existence that emotions display can’t be under estimated. The art of the photographer is capturing these moments. They are what make’s life worth living and sharing.
